About Seven Summits

Fulfilling a life long dream Lise and Steve Corlett purchased the farm in 2005 and Established Seven Summits Equestrian Center. Lise’s dream to run a riding school and boarding service; Steve’s to be back in the country and farming!

We feel we are a great team; Steve grew up on a farm and is extremely knowledgeable in maintaining a facility, and working the land. In fact when his home farm was in full swing they used to provide hay to members of the Canadian Endurance team! As a teenager he worked for a number of large horse facilities and professionals maintaining their rings and grounds.

I didn’t have the privilege of growing up on a farm. But was the consummate barn rat at every barn that wouldn’t mind me hanging around all day! I worked for many professionals in several Olympic disciplines and learned the ins and outs of riding schools and maintaining FEI level Competition horses. I would spend entire days sitting in the corner of the arena watching lessons and improving my eye. I took every learning opportunity I could to know more about the animal and the industry I love.

Over the years the business has grown astronomically and is more than we ever could have hoped for. Running the business has been a definite growth opportunity that we are so grateful for.
